The Journal of Earth Science Biointerfaces (JESB) is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to exploring the dynamic interactions between earth sciences, biological systems, environmental processes, and emerging interdisciplinary technologies. The journal serves as a scholarly platform for researchers, environmental scientists, geologists, ecologists, biotechnologists, and academicians to publish innovative studies that improve the understanding of natural systems and their biological interfaces. JESB encourages scientific contributions that address environmental sustainability, ecosystem balance, natural resource management, and the integration of biological principles within earth science research. JESB focuses on publishing high-quality research related to geological processes, environmental biointeractions, climate systems, soil and water sciences, geobiology, ecological restoration, environmental biotechnology, and sustainable earth-based innovations. The journal promotes multidisciplinary approaches that connect biological sciences with geosciences to better understand environmental transformations, biodiversity, microbial interactions, and the effects of human activities on natural ecosystems. Through scientific collaboration and evidence-based research, JESB aims to support global efforts toward environmental protection and sustainable development. The journal also welcomes emerging research areas including bio-geochemical cycles, biomineralization, environmental nanotechnology, remote sensing applications, climate resilience, ecological modeling, and artificial intelligence applications in earth and environmental sciences. By fostering innovative scientific communication and rigorous peer review practices, JESB aspires to become a valuable academic resource for advancing interdisciplinary environmental and earth science research worldwide. Guidelines

We welcome high-quality, original research contributions that advance scientific knowledge and align with the scope of our peer-reviewed journals. To ensure a smooth submission and publication process, authors are requested to adhere to the following guidelines.

1. Manuscript Preparation

Formatting: Manuscripts should be submitted in MS Word format (.docx) using 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins.

Structure:

Include the following sections as applicable: Title page, Abstract (250 words max), Keywords (3–5), Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments, References.

Figures and Tables:

Numbered and captioned appropriately; include high-resolution images in separate files.

Reference Style:

Use APA Style, 7th Edition. Citations should be in-text (Author, Year) and listed in alphabetical order at the end.

Example (Journal Article):

Smith, J. A., & Brown, L. T. (2020). Climate trends in urban regions. Environmental Research Letters, 15(3), 123–134. https://doi.org/xx.xxx/yyyy

2. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted via our online journal management system. Ensure all authors are listed and an ORCID iD is provided (optional but encouraged).

3. Peer Review

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process by subject experts. Authors can expect an initial decision within 1–2 weeks of submission.

4. Withdrawal Policy

Authors may withdraw their manuscript prior to peer review by notifying the editorial office via email. However, manuscripts withdrawn after peer review but before final decision may be subject to a withdrawal processing fee of USD $50. Withdrawal after acceptance is strongly discouraged and may result in a publication embargo for the authors.

5. Ethical Considerations

USOD Publishers follows COPE guidelines. Plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate submissions, and unethical research practices are strictly prohibited.
